Shelly never left

As I sit here on the park bench, my eyes
gazed around the beautiful scenes,
that gave my heart a gentle nudge
to clamor for happiness that was once simple.

Children sundry, were here busy with their sports
that can be only understood by mind innocent,
youth over there blushing like fresh blooms
at the sight of damsels giggling in merry froth.

On my right, I find an old wise person
reading the invisible ink amidst the rising sun,
and mother fretting with love over her apple
wrapped in blue gown and her tender love.

Ah! What more can I fathom that moment,
a chunk from heaven that fell on land mundane,
How I wish to stay in that happy abode
like a carving on an urn that stays forever put.

Alas! muscles aren't supple till judgement day,
Shelly left into the womb of dreary waters.
O the nimble toiler who makes night and day
divulge in me the reason of your sorrowful ways.

Heaven you place for a moment, in hand
only to asunder again with your ruthless sword.
Yet, I shall light this moment in my memory
that lights my path thro' winter nights many.

Hide or seek

This wonderful creation turned a tinge darker,
Grandfathers looked up and wailed, "Sooner or later,
this world shall become a doleful abyss,
ruled forever by evil, shunned in darkness."

Children who are playing joyfully continued,
without twitching a muscle when darkness reigned
"Oh! Its so beautiful this place of sans light
as we can learn to enjoy this game, never a plight"

Cloud above was just playing with sun,
the one happy to remain hidden and unseen.

Grandfathers hid in burrows, cages and nests
closed their eyes with utter dismay from unnamed fears
"Never can we open our eyes and mind
to the state so dark, better that we be blind."

"O Lord! we are full with thy grace
and we shall shower them in our love."

Children played in puddles of pure water
created by happy bursts of cloud matter
"We seek the reality whatever it is,
never giving up thinking till God we kiss."

Grandfathers shut their selves from reality
and thus, banished to eternal darkness of ambiguity.
Children, go on to play with confidence
and they shall be granted the truth after cadence.

"I wish to see my dear love,
o clouds! make way as I come."

The sun shone brightly on the empty streets,
children ran freely on those golden lanes
with happy note on their lips, an anthem
to life joyous for those who seek and dream.

Fettered Fog

It drapes with care the lazy lake below
like a blanket sewn out of  dull dreams,
and covers trees tall and creepers low,
like a comrade bound by pack and duties.

O Fog! isn't my state just like yours,
caring for few and chiming with many,
with conviction unsure in dreary nights
yet stranded here by chains of responsibility.

Responsibility! its a thread woven by heart
that is burdened by past and scared of future,
just like you, O fog!, I stand still and inert
marching  thro' this dreary dusk like a martyr.

Thou vanish unburderned into nothingness
when splendid sun rushes to your aid in morning
I  too, O comrade, shall be unfettered at once
when the wisdom within ends this mourning.

Hill On The Other Side

My gaze fell on the fog draped hills
that reminds one of a young bride under veil,
tender and innocent with expectant smile on lips,
waiting for the man with unearthly zeal.

O look above! here comes the startling sun,
in procession preceded by clouds small and huge
while the morning breeze ride as chief captain
and the groom, turned orange with tender love.

The birds above begins the hymns
water under serves the guest august
fairies unseen sings joyful long choirs
and sun arrives in all splendor to his better part.
 mind.

Love of the couple  permeates the air
untarnished by the daily worries and woes,
shielding my mind from world unfair,
Ah! that early beauty never fades nor withers.
