Two seeds

A tender hand sowed two seeds
In soil fertile, with love and care.
Water flowed freely in both their seats
And sun shined unbiased in that place.

Days passed and eyes sought the yield
Lo! One turned into a plant taut and tall
Adorned with stars of colour gold.
Alas! Another was twisted like a broken doll.

Months went by and golden ones waned
The shorter one endured dust and weed.
A flower blossomed white on twisted house
And once tall died-a martyr to a lousy cause.
