A black dot

Oh dear dot ! What can you be?
A maverick mark on wall else white
or a mole on a freedom seeking kite?
What will you see in this life?

Maybe deck atop a line unbent
and make it the greatest letter on earth
Else adorn the mistress delicate brow,
and let men sing songs as they grow.

Go forth my dear, into ravens as a pebble
befriending gusty winds and chilling rains.
Settle, o comrade, in this mansion large
part of a portrait, unseen, with a heavy price.

Hark! World is all yours to claim
live as you will, sans concern for any line
cross them, cut them or join them.
Earth is yours and everything that is above.
