I saw him first beneath the blue moss,
a white tear fearless and pure amidst vast sky,
untouched by this world's malicious hands
a sight of life and a symbol of pure joy.
He gazed at me with love or so I thought,
and I let myself to him in complete submission.
As he drank my life and world throughout
merrily I sang lullaby on forever union.
Lo! He grew big and I shrinked unnoticed
he laughed at his volume and colour new.
A new silvery black like a mountain unattached,
he stood majestic over me thru the morning dew.
Alas! At night, he went fast away
up at the hill amongst trees tall and wild.
He lost himself and gave me at mere wind's sway.
while here I laid -silent, hurt and cold.
I cried at silent nights to fireflies glowing
for he left me incomplete and bitter.
Sun rose unperturbed by my wails at night, signalling
dawn of new story and to have no bother.
Behold!! My tears made me complete again,
I am a lake that was and is still pure
for the key was sought in vain,
door is never locked as I am always free and alone.
