Epilogue:
Jesus Christ was crucified previous day
an uneventful event for most citizens
barring few followers of man happy
with his cross and crown of thorns.
III
A carpenter was busy with his tools
driving nails, shaving wood , pruning edges
"He worked with me, the man sans fright
yet scorned and worshiped by mob." he thought.
"If only I meet him alone for once
to know love that spared the deathly foe,
for I seen him smile at crowd's ridicule
unmarred by anger on smiling face."
That night, Christ much younger and stronger
beckoned the carpenter to meet him in woods.
"Is it my illusion or play of my unfruitful desires
my comrade hast called me to where he dwells."
II
Thus, carpenter sailed thro' dreary trees
with moon mute as his companion strange
to the place shielded by innocent and wise
where his master waits alone beyond seven hills.
He had moved past the beasts awakened
crossed villages filled with jeers and laughs
with quest for love burning in his untouched recesses
of heart that neither bereaved or smiled for world.
After few scores of birth of moon eternal
the carpenter reached the spot in woods serene
only to find a puddle of water clear and pure
that reflected his form- taut and tall.
I
"Master simple and clever, thou hast shown
the nature of this show of smokes and mirrors,
a just reflection of my thoughts in myriad forms
and thus, none can bind in this world forlorn."
" I am the One untouched by ripples
forever I am complete in eternal bliss
for world is my game and senseless play
not me a prey of praise or sword's slay."
Prologue
A cowherd cried to silent nights in forlorn hut
for his blue formed mate that left the town,
"O dear! when shall my eyes quench their thirst
for unbridled love that thy form bestow me upon."
